A calm morning 90 miles in front of Libya. We deserve this start into this new day… We? Thats is 11 SOS MEDITERRANEE volunteers doing the Search and Rescue on board the 77 meter rescue vessel Aquarius, 7 Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) team responsible for the medical support and overall taking care of the rescued on board the ship crew. Since beginning of this operation in February 2016, saving lives of humans in the Mediterranean Sea mainly in front of Libya, we have rescued more than 6600 children, women and men. More than 10.700 people got save on board our Aquarius.
